Favourite drawer

I will show you two of the drawer in our space. One, upstairs, filled with my favo cd's and the other one, in the kitchen, filled with baking supplies.

Favourite window and bathroom-thing

The close-up pictures show the vase with autumn-decorations and the balls with autumndecorations that are hanging from the ceiling.

This is a "favourite'' part of our bathroom. The bathroom isn't exactly a beautiful room, it's small and a bit '80's........ In the closet there is this little basket. We keep our washing-gloves in there, so they don't end up all over the bathroom.

Favourite spot hallway

What hidden treasure or favourite spot do you just LOVE about your hallway?

I love this spot right beside the staircase. Every time I go upstairs I see these pictures hanging there. Every now and then I change the photo's in the frame's.

Favourite spot

This next week will see us finding those little spots around our home that we just love. It might be a corner of a cabinet or it might be a little trinket in a certain room. Today I would like you all to find your favourite spot/piece in your lounge.

This is my favourtite spot. I sit here to drink coffee, to watch tv, to read, to puzzle, to help the kids with homework etc.

Right above the couch is a painting given to us by my grandmother. We got the painting as a weddinggift. The mill on the picture is the mill in the village I lived before I got married. My grandmother died 9 years ago but the painting is still a very special thing to me......

Pink

Not essentially last in the rainbow (like Violet is) but its a shade of Indigo and that would be just too boring. I know you can find us some pink.

Not much pink in our household (with 3 men and 1 woman) but I managed to found this moneybox.......

and when I looked into our garden I've noticed this hydrangea that is still blooming with one pink flower........

Indigo

Today's word (following the rainbow) is Indigo......

Difficult because what shade of blue/purple is indigo. I hope this photo is indigo... In my eyes it is.....

A real autumn-like picture, isn't it. It one of the first photo's made with my new camera.
I love it to make pictures that close to an object......

Cats are hard to catch on pictures but I think I managed well.

Game

Lots of game(s) in this space....

Both my sons love to game on the PC, Playstation, GameCube or X-box.

Almost every day one of them is playing.

Luckely they do other games as well. They both like to play chess. In fact, both of them became

champion of the "state"' we live in, in schoolchess competition.

My youngest (in white shirt on picture below) played with his team the Dutch Championships.

They became 16th....... Outside the playing area there was this huge chessboard, so they had to play on it.

One of the teammembers bought this (below) chessboard. How cool is that. You can play the game with three instead of two players.

Besides these games mentioned, the youngest is playing soccer (4 times a week) and the oldest is playing ping-pong.....

Lots of gaming in this space!

Steps

I had to search for a while, because the staircase is so predictable. I found these steps along the path towards the sports ground and I thought this will do.

Crockery

Saterday's portrait picture shows me (of course) with my new camera!!

The picture below is the first photo taken with that camera. I'm so happy with it. I can now make the close-up's I want. My old camera couldn't make picture that close.......

Blade

This picture is made with my old camera and yes... I have a new one. Maybe tomorrow's picture is made by it. I have to learn a lot and read the manual again......

Mesh

This picture is taken last Sunday. A dragonfly landed on the bench of our cats. Although the picture was of the dragonfly, the mesh of the bench is suitable for today's word.

Tray

A flat , shallow container for carrying food, drin k and small items. Find a 'tray' in your space.

This tray is standing on our dinnertable. Every now and then I change whats in it. Now there are candles and a jar with fall-items in the tray. In the summer there are shells in it, in winter Christmas things. It changes with the season.
When you look closely you can see the tray is acually 4 trays. 2 small ones, 1 bigger
and the 4th is the biggest. It holds the other ones.

Card

Wheel

2 pictures for today's word.
The first picture is taken on the Harbour Days in Vlissingen. It's the ferris wheel. My youngest and his friend wanted to go in it. I'm a little bit afraid of hights, so is my DH. One of us had to go, I was the lucky one. The view is stunning from up there. That makes it a little better.

This picture is taken in august during the Eneco Tour Nederland. One of the etappes went through our city so...... pictures!!!! Lots of wheels on the pavement!
