This picture is taken in Amsterdam last July. We did a circular tour on a boat over the canals. Our guide told us a lot of things about Amsterdam. When you look closely you can see 6 bridges behind each other......

Cushion

This is what I did today during scrapbooklessons. I know, it's not finished yet. It has to become a transparency-booklet. This is one of the pages. I put it on a sheet of white paper so you can see the stamp. I love doodles.

Dog and Sponge

This little doggy is my youngest first item he got when he was born. Because I had a reflux after his birth we had to go to the hospital and in his crib there he was, this dog.

Ever since it was laying in my sons bed for quit some years. Now my son is 11 years old and then it's not cool to have a cuddly animal. So now, the doggy is still in his room but not in his bed any more.

Sponge

It's not difficult to see what kind of sponge this is, isn't it. Not one of my favourite thing to do......

My picture shows something quirky. It's wrapping paper. I like it so much, I think it's beautiful, almost to beautiful to wrap presents in....... Maybe I'll use it as scrapbooking paper.

By the way, wrapping paper is very appropriate today, because...... it's my birthday!!

You and me.

Everybody's out for work or school so I'm on my own again. The picture shows "us" (my husband, kids and myself) on a very windy location at the beach in Vlissingen.

Maybe this afternoon, when the kids are home again, they want to pose for a picture with me..... We'll see.

This is my printer, a Lexmark P704 photoprinter. I bought it 2 years ago for just 50 euro's (about 45 US$) and I'm so very pleased with it. It prints my photo's for scrapbooking, just at the size I want. And of course it prints ordinary letters and documents as well.

Cake

No cake in my space today, so I cheated a bit.
In february the girls from the "speel-o-theek" (like a library but then you can loan toys) and I went to a bakery where we had to make a valentine's cake. In the pictures you see the beginning, middle part and the end result.

It was a very sweet cake, but if you took a small portion it was yummie.........

This picture is taken in my garden.

I was surprised to see the picture is that clear that you even can see the little holes in the wings of the dragon-fly. And I love the colours of the hosta-flowers against the green leaves.

I have to do yesterday's word as well. I made a lovely sandwich, especially to take a picture of it, ..... the photo was blurry!!!

So, in stead of that picture, a picture taken on our holiday. R. ordered a clubsandwich. Boy, what a feast that was......

Both pictures are a bit of a cheat. They weren't taken today (it's 8.00 AM now) but a few weeks ago. The first photo shows (the hands of) my youngest. He's holding a tray with blackberries, picked in the garden.

This picture shows the soccerteam of my youngest. They won their first tournament this season and are holding the cup together.

Show off Sunday

This picture is made in Edam, during the cheesemarket, every wednesday, especially for tourists.

I think this is a typical Dutch picture: a farmer who is bringing his homemade-cheese to the local cheesemarket by boat, in a typical Dutch environment, small ditches, cows or sheep on the grass......
