Surprise

This picture is taken in early Januari 2008 when my youngest son played korfball with spome of his schoolmates. Much to their surprise they reached the finals and eventually become 2nd.
Boy, they where so happy! They jumped in the air (as you can see).

A year ago we, the children from our school, sold "speculaaspoppen" for charity. We sold 1600 speculaaspoppen which gave us 2500 euro for charity.

And 1600 speculaaspoppen looks like this.....................

Speculaaspoppen are cookies (large ones) from brown hard biscuit in a shape like a doll.

Temperance

Catching up.....

I have a lot of catching up to do......

This picture, taken in june 07, shows my son (on the right) talking to Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet of the Netherlands. This picture, and another one showing my son and the Princess, was in a lot of newspapers that day........ I was very proud that day. Everyone who has seen the newspaper talked about it........

When I told my son the word for today was string, he started laughing. His little dirty mind tought of that kind of underwear.... you know what I mean.

When I told him shoestrings were okay too, he immediately took out his new shoes and made a picture of the strings.

The second picture is a cheat, made during our vacation in Volendam. One of the favorite things to do was flying kite.
